Annie Wersching
Annie Wersching, born March 28 1977, is an American actress , best well-known for her character in 24 and the voice acting that she did for Tess in Naughty Dog's video game The Last of Us. Wersching was born in St. Louis, Missouri and raised there. She went to high school at Crossroads College Preparatory School in the Central West End of St. Louis where she graduated in 1995. Wersching started her acting career after a guest appearance on the show Star Trek: Enterprise, and moved on to guest-starring roles in shows such as Charmed Killer Instinct, Supernatural and Cold Case. From March through November 2007 she played the character as Amelia Joffe on the ABC Daytime soap opera General Hospital. She has worked at theaters such as Victory Gardens and Marriott Lincolnshire. As a child she was a competitive dancer in Irish dance and was a member of the St. Louis Celtic Stepdancers. She graduated in 1999 with a Bachelor in Fine Arts in Musical Theater from Millikin University. After her two-season run on 24 Wersching guest starred on various shows, including CSI, NCIS, Rizzoli and Isles Hawaii Five-0, Body of Proof, Dallas, Revolution, Castle, Blue Bloods, The Vampire Diaries and Touch (which features the co-star of 24 Kiefer Sutherland). In 2014, she appeared as the regular series star for Bosch, an Amazon Prime crime program Bosch. Wersching played catcher for the National League in the 2009 Taco Bell All-Star Legends and Celebrity Softball Game.In December 2012, it was revealed that in the PlayStation 3 exclusive The Last of Us Wersching was the voice and mo-cap actor of the character Tess. Geoff Keighley had teased Wersching's character on Twitter prior to when it was revealed in the Spike Video Game Awards trailer, December 7, 2012. Wersching will be playing the Borg queen in Star Trek: Picard.
